People and Development (PAD) is established by a group of professionals involved variedly in media, development, education, business and others as a movement aiming in bringing a new and innovative approach to assist in rebuilding New Nepal, defying the conventional concept of charity and development and prefiguring a new concept of rights, activism and building consensus on broader level. PAD primarily works through advocacy in protecting and promoting rights by lobbying, campaigning, discourse, pressure groups, and social conscientisation. The main focus of each and every event was to identify issues to be incorporated in upcoming constitution. Many issues were identified in the events. The issues were random and in order to prepare a useful resource for the CA member, PAD, with the help of consultants categorized the identified issues as per the scope of work of the various constituent drafting subject committees. A Nepali report has been submitted to all the 147 youth CA members. The issues have been categorized in 11 groups: |

PAD conducts youth discussion series every week among the private college going students as well as in public colleges. The rationale of the project is to make aware the youth (16-25yrs) age groups on the issues related to inclusive democracy, constituent assembly, non-violence, participation, reintegration etc. The students become PAD’s volunteers and get engaged with the other PAD’s project. This is an ongoing project |

A Nepali report has been submitted to all the 147 youth CA members. The issues have been categorized in 11 groups: 1.1 Issues related to Fundamental Rights and Directives Principle Committee 1. It is difficult for the state to create employment by itself for whole population of the nation. For that reason, government should adopt policy of self employment and establish “youth bank” for providing education and entrepreneurship loan to the youths. A constitutional provision is necessary for it. 2. Youths do have genuine duty and obligation towards their country whom the state have direct investment. . Therefore, he state should adopt a policy of compulsory service towards the country for the candidates who study under state’s scholarship program. |
